THE LADY OF SHALOTT The following essay is going to be about the Story The Lady Of Shalott and the personal view of the author on how is this text related to values, specifically patience and caring. The poem narrates the life of this Lady (that has no name in the story) that lives in Shalott Island. Even to the natives, this woman was a mystery, no one has ever seen her. This woman is sentenced to live in a very tall and gloomy tower for the rest of her life. She is not allowed to go out because there is a spell within her body structure that does not allow her as I mentioned to go out and also just to simply look out of the only window she had. The settings of the story imply that she lives in a island and her tower is in front of a  beautiful and very green town called Camelot. Now described the situation, in my point of view , the poem has everything to  do with patience,  she actually did have a lot of patience because she was just spending, not living her life "caged&
